The Editorial Department:
Now celebrating 26 years in the service of writers worldwide.
Founded by former William Morrow senior editor Renni Browne, our firm is dedicated to helping writers of full-length fiction and nonfiction turn promising manuscripts into salable properties. What sets us apart from others is our high rate of success with first fiction, our policy against taking on work that we feel shows little promise, and the assistance we offer our un-agented authors in finding literary representation. We cannot guarantee writers publication as a result of working with us, but we can dramatically improve their odds. Authors’ Services include: manuscript evaluation & consultation, proofreading, copyediting, line editing, ghost writing & collaboration, synopsis & book proposal preparation, writers’ workshops & seminars, a free writers’ e-zine, and a fiction-writing e-course.
